Marianna Ricketson

Born on the South Pacific island of Guam to a teacher and a US Peace Corps national, teaching was written in my destiny far before I could ever have known it. I have lived all over the US and the South Pacific. I simply love to travel and have been to many US states and countries including Fiji (where my family is from), Greece, Italy, France, Australia, Tahiti, New Zealand, Western Samoa, UAE, India, Egypt, Guam, Canada, England, France, and Italy. I have a wonderful son who will be a freshman as Bowie High School and being a mom is by far, my favorite job!

My undergrad is in Elementary Education, PreK-8th grade from Purdue University and my Master's is from Columbia University in Instructional Technology. I have taught in Indiana, New York, Connecticut, California and Texas in both public and private school settings. I have been teaching since 1998 and in Eanes ISD since the 2002-3 school year. I started my Eanes ISD career at West Ridge Middle School as the Campus Tech Coordinator & 6th grade teacher and then joined the Bridge Point Elementary team in 2009 as an Instructional Technology Coach, aka Ed Tech until 2018. I transferred to Eanes Elementary in 2018 and am now an Educational Partner at EE. Go Mustangs!
