Hello, my name is Mr. Beebe and I LOVE teaching Texas History! This year, we will be learning about the geography, people, and events that have shaped the Lone Star State. I have lived in Central Texas the large majority of my life and love being a Texan. I was raised just down the road in the lovely town of San Marcos. After high school, I attended and graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where I studied cultural anthropology. I then journeyed back to San Marcos and received my masters degree in education from Texas State University. I spent four years working in the Austin Independent School District prior to joining the Hill Country Middle School and Eanes family.
This is my fifteenth year in education and my tenth year at Hill Country Middle School! It is a pleasure having the opportunity to work with great families and students in such a wonderful community. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, playing guitar and gigs with my band, listening to music, hanging with my dogs, and watching scary movies!
I love learning about and teaching Texas history, and am excited to be working with all of you this year!
