About Me

My name is Kaleigh Flaherty and I am thrilled to be at Forest Trail Elementary with you again this year! This will be my fifth year teaching. I am thankful to have spent the last four years teaching third grade. It is the best grade yet! 

Last summer, I relocated to Austin from Dallas. I grew up in Chicago, however my family landed in the suburbs of Dallas before my junior year of high school. I am grateful for the contagious Aggie spirit, and couldn't pass up the opportunity to grow my love for teaching at Texas A&M. Whoop! I graduated from A&M with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, adventuring outside and on the lake, and traveling. I have fallen in love with Austin, and I am thrilled for another year here!

I can't wait to know your family this school year. Together, we will partner to best support your kiddos in their journey to learn and grow as individuals. I hope each student feels seen and known in our classroom, so they can step into the world to do the amazing things they are capable of doing!
