¡Hola!

I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to be your child's teacher this year.  Thank you in advance for sharing your child with me in the school year to come.

This year will be my ninth year being a Bilingual / Spanish Immersion teacher! My love for teaching began as a child when I realized I love helping others learn something new. I earned my bachelor's degree in Education at Texas State University in the Spring of 2015. 

My family is from a small town in northern Mexico called Sabinas, Coahuila. I was born and raised in Texas, so I am a proud Tejana, Mexican-American teacher. My "mother tongue" is Spanish and I learned English in school. I love that that's something that the students and I will be able to relate to together. Learning a second language took a lot of time and patience from my teachers, parents, & myself but I believe that it is worth it!

When I'm not teaching I like to hike, paint, travel, read, listen to all kinds of music, learn new things, hang out with family & friends, and spoil my chi-weenie, Lola and my baby Liam!
