I hold a bachelor degree in early childhood education from Texas Christian University and master's degree in educational administration from Tarleton State University.  I have been blessed to serve in a variety of roles in education for the past 19 years, including teaching kindergarten through 3rd grade and special education, instructional coaching, and administration.  From 2019 to 2022, I served as assistant principal at Cedar Creek Elementary and from 2015 to 2019 academic dean in Elgin ISD for 4 years.  2025-2026 will be my fourth year as principal at FTE.  I am married and I have three daughters who all attend Westlake High School (Go Chaps!).  I enjoy reading, walking my dog, Leroy, and volunteering for the WHS Chap Band in my free time.  I know that this will be a fantastic year and I can't wait to learn and grow together!
