About Me:

Hello! My name is Haley Bromlow, and I’m so excited to begin another amazing year at Eanes Elementary as the Interventionist/ESL Specialist. I grew up in a small town in the Texas Panhandle—Spearman, Texas. Go LYNX! In 2012, I moved from Dallas to Austin, and I instantly fell in love with the trees, hills, hiking trails, creeks, and lakes that make this city so special.

I’ve been teaching for 22 years and have experience across a range of grade levels, including 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade, as well as in dyslexia intervention and special education.  In my very first year of teaching, I was honored to receive the “Rookie Teacher of the Year” award, which confirmed what I already felt—teaching is my passion.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in many leadership roles. I’ve been a team leader, a curriculum writer and planner, a mentor and trainer for new teachers, and a member of the Campus Instructional Leadership Team. I’m also a Central Texas Writing Consultant and have been part of Eanes' I-Leap team. I’ve been nominated for Teacher of the Year and was honored to receive an EANESpiration Hero Award. I hold certifications in ESL, Special Education, and am a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner.

Outside of the classroom, I’m married to my wonderful husband, Matt, and we have two amazing boys—Luke (17) and Hunter (14)—who keep us very busy! I enjoy walking as a way to relax and have even completed two half marathons. Our family loves hiking and spending time at the lake. We also have a dog named Bandit, and I absolutely love being a dog mom.

Eanes Elementary is a truly special place, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this community. I’m honored to be your child’s teacher and can’t wait to begin this exciting year of learning and growth together!
