Hello! My name is Deslaune “Des” Burns and I am so excited to be the School-Based Therapist at Forest Trail and Cedar Creek elementary. I was born and raised in Austin, TX and moved to Houston to attend college. I graduated with a Bachelors of Art degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and earned my Masters of Education in Counseling at the University of Houston-Victoria campus. GO COOGS! In my free time, I am usually playing with my rambunctious Chi-Poo mix pup, Izzy, or riding around on my beach cruiser. I love all things crafty and enjoy trying new restaurants and eateries around town.

I have worked with a wide range of clientele in Houston and Austin providing counseling and case management. Before joining Eanes ISD, I was an elementary program manager for Communities In Schools.

FTE Schedule:

Tuesday and Wednesday: 7:30-3:30pm

Friday: 7:30-11:30am

CCE Schedule:

Monday and Wednesday: 7:30-3:30pm

Friday: 12:30-4:30pm
