Claudia Sumano, 1st Grade (Spanish Immersion)

Hello, my name is Claudia Sumano. I grew up in Oaxaca, Mexico, a beautiful colonial city in the southern region of Mexico. I started teaching Spanish to Eanes ISD students 10 years ago but the first class I taught was more than 20 years ago. Teaching has been a fun ongoing journey and seeing my students grow makes me happy. I love traveling with my family and friends. I enjoy the challenges and the excitement of learning new languages as well as visiting new places. Growing up I made friends from other cultures and countries around the world and I treasure that experience. I'm excited to be teaching at Cedar creek this year!
