About Me

My name is Courtney Jerome, and I am so excited for my fourth year at Valley View Elementary! 

I graduated from Texas State University with a BS in Family & Consumer Science and a minor in Art. I earned my teaching and ESL certification through Educators of Excellence and have taught preschool, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and now Elementary Art! I look forward to learning, exploring, creating, and building a community. I hope to foster an atmosphere where students can thrive as individuals and reach their full potential. I am honored to be a small part of the VVE community and continue growing alongside our cardinals.

When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family, friends, and pup! You'll often find me on the trails, at the lake, crafting on the couch, or enjoying the sunshine and a good book in my backyard.
