Hi there! I am Tracie Mojica, and I’ve been a teacher at Bridge Point Elementary since 2002. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. A few years ago I took on the role of school registrar and principal’s secretary, but eventually returned to the classroom; where I need to be! One of my core values is building rapport and trust with my students and their families. I believe that honoring the unique gifts each child brings to our classroom community is essential for a successful school year. I am so excited to partner with the fifth grade team and to welcome all my new students. A very cool thing this year.......my daughter is also a teacher here at BPE!

I’m a native Austinite, born and raised in this ever growing city. I’m also a proud Texas Longhorn, having attended the University of Texas. I married my high school sweetheart, Gil, and we’ve built a wonderful life together. We have twin daughters, Rebekah and Haleigh, who both matriculated through the Eanes school district and are proud Bridge Point Bobcats!

Within in the last year, my twin daughters have both married and added two sons to our family. We've gone from a family of 4 to 6 very quickly!

I will be a first time grandmother with a baby boy expected in December! I cannot wait!

We have twin labrador puppies who will be ONE in September. They are a HANDFUL!

Outside of school, I have a variety of hobbies that keep me busy and fulfilled. I love shopping for bargains. Cooking is another passion of mine, I especially enjoy making salsas of all kinds. I’m also an avid reader (audiobook listener), always looking for the next great book to dive into. And, of course, I’m a die-hard Texas Longhorn football fan. 

My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family in the Texas Hill Country. Family means everything to me, and I cherish every moment we get to spend together.
