Patti Sciglimpaglia-Vigue LPC

Hello! My name is Patricia Sciglimpaglia-Vigue, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut. I have a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph. I have counseling experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, family conflict, goal setting, and anger management with specialties in sports performance, and LGBTQ+ affirming counseling.

I serve the LGBTQ+ population and all concerns that fall under this population. I am a part of the LGBTQ+ population and can provide an empathetic perspective. Additionally, I feel strongly about working with athletes' mental health and I am certified in Mental Performance Mastery more commonly known as sports psychology.

The clients I specialize in are dealing with anxiety, panic disorders or panic attacks, depression, stress, sports performance, and life transitions. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Journaling, MI, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and client-centered approaches to assess the needs of each client to find the best counseling approach.
