Audrey Jones, LMSW She/Her
Hi, I’m Audrey Jones Licensed Master Social Worker and a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut, where I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work.
I have over four years of experience working in intensive treatment programs for adolescents and young adults. I’ve also worked as a substance use clinician and as a school-based health center clinician, where I supported students through academic, social, and emotional challenges. These roles have given me the privilege of walking alongside clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, identity exploration, and major life transitions.
In addition to individual therapy, I enjoy working with couples and families and have facilitated many group therapy sessions. I value helping clients improve communication, strengthen relationships, and find a deeper sense of connection with themselves and those around them.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client’s needs. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care, while often incorporating Internal Family Systems modality to help clients develop self-understanding and inner balance.
As a Native American therapist, I am passionate about creating a culturally safe and affirming space for Indigenous clients. I also specialize in providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals and love supporting young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, and personal growth.
My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered to take steps toward healing and meaningful change.
When I’m not working, I’m probably behind a camera, capturing weddings and lifestyle photography in the golden-hour light, spending time with loved ones and my pets, or experimenting with a new sourdough recipe!
