Hello! My name is Alyssa Sitro, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA). I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in mental health from Eastern Connecticut State University, and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph.
Life can be incredibly stressful and full of uncertainty. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can openly express your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I am here to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding.
My approach to therapy is warm and flexible, meeting you where you are while integrating a variety of therapeutic techniques to best support your needs. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process that helps you build confidence and create meaningful change, while providing an inclusive and affirming space that honors your unique identity and lived experiences.
I have experience working with teens, young adults, and adults, and I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life transitions and manage challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship issues, and everyday life stressors.
I am committed to helping you recognize your strengths, build effective coping skills, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. I’m glad you’re here and taking this step for yourself.
