Hi! My name is Allison and I am an LPCA (Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate). I received my bachelors degree in Psychology from University of Hartford and my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph.
My goal is to provide an approach that is down to earth, honest and validating. Life provides us with so many opportunities to grow through challenges, and I am committed to helping you find the value in life’s curveballs and acceptance in circumstances that you cannot change.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel formal. My approach is casual and collaborative while holding you accountable to your own goals and self reflection. I provide a nonjudgmental space to express feelings, thoughts and experiences to create meaningful and lasting change in your life and internal dialogue. I incorporate humor in my sessions often, and believe everyone should laugh more.
I have experience working with children 9 years old and up, pre teens, teens and young adults. I am passionate about learning through everyone’s story and learning your story to collaborate on change.
