Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me. My name is Emily Sciglimpalia-Vigue and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut. I have been a Counselor since 2019- experience in working with individuals ages 10-21 both as a School Counselor and Therapist. I have worked with a wide range of individuals throughout those years and I look forward to getting to know you as well.
Specializing in providing affirming care for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse individuals. With a commitment to advocating for gender-affirming care, I supports clients in navigating their gender journey, mental health, and access to necessary medical interventions. Understanding the critical role of gender-affirming care in mental and physical well-being, I will provide professional documentation for clients seeking gender-affirming care including letters for hormone therapy and surgeries. I am happy to work collaboratively with medical providers to ensure clients receive care in a supportive and affirming environment.
If you're seeking affirming support on your journey, I am here to help.
Navigating gender identity and accessing affirming care can be challenging, but you don’t have to do it alone.
I provide a safe, supportive space for transgender, nonbinary and LGBTQ+ individuals, offering mental health support and letters for gender-affirming care. You deserve to be seen, heard, and respected. If you're ready, I invite you to reach out.
In my free time, I enjoy baking/cooking, coaching softball & volleyball, being with my family, and spending time with my wife, our son, and our adorable kittens.
I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you in your journey :)
