P-TECH students can pursue a number of different career tracks after graduation. Some students may want to start full-time work immediately after graduating from P-TECH while others may want to continue their education by pursuing a bachelor's degree while potentially working part-time in a relevant position.
The P-TECH pathway is designed to help prepare students with the requisite knowledge (an associate degree) as well as skills and experience (work-based learning) to meet the demands for exciting high-growth positions in the Environmental Solutions field.

By continuing your education to earn a degree from CMC's Bachelor of Arts program in Sustainability Studies, you'll be positioned to pursue and launch a career in a number of different fields that incorporate sustainability knowledge and science skills including:
Business management, consulting, energy policy, environmental education, international development, government, marketing & communications for the green economy, public administration, public lands management, sustainable food, and urban planning.
P-TECH graduates will also be well positioned to pursue Bright Outlook* professions in the field including: Environmental Scientists, Sustainability Specialists, and Environmental Engineering Technologists and Technicians (see below).
* - Bright Outlook occupations are expected to grow rapidly in the next several years, or will have large numbers of job openings.
