About me

Welcome! For those of you I haven't met yet, my name is Mrs. Finfrock and this is my 5th year here at Elma High School. This year I am teaching freshmen Career Explorations and Health as well as the new Environmental Science and Natural Resources class. I am also one of the advisors for Elma FFA.

I am originally from Los Angeles, CA and I attended Stanford University for my bachelors degree in International Relations. I went on to UC Davis for my teaching credential and masters in agriculture education. I am married to Mr. Finfrock (who teaches math) and we have two amazing dogs named Lindsay and Brian. We also have three cats, a flock of almost 30 chickens and 10 bee hives. I love to cook, garden and hike in the forest behind our house.

I am looking forward to getting to know all of you this year and working together on this distance learning adventure.

Students built this aquaponics system over the past 3 summers. We improve and maintain it as part of the Environmental Science and Natural Resources class. We are raising 150 channel catfish and growing lettuce, basil and other produce.
