Welcome to my teacher website for the 2020-2021 school year! My name is Katie Gallagher and I will be teaching English 9/10 and 11/12. This will be my 14th year teaching and working in education.

I have taught across the country in the states of Georgia, California, Wyoming, Virginia, and Washington. I believe that the more we are able to see different places and interact with people from backgrounds different from our own we become more accepting and empathetic citizens. For me, literature is an extension of exploration and exposure to ideas and experiences that may be different from my life. I am looking forward to the opportunity to share that passion and exploration of learning with all of you this year.
