Research – The process of gathering information from books, websites, videos, or other sources to learn about a topic.
Source – The place where information comes from, like a book, website, or video.
Presentation – A way to share information with others, using speaking, visuals, or technology like slides or posters.
LAST DAY TO COMPLETE YOUR FAMOUS FACES SLIDES
*Only FINISHED projects will be presented to the class*
Go to Google Classroom to get access to your project.
Go to Google Classroom & open your project
Set a Picture as the Background for All Slides:
Click Slide in the top menu.
Select Change background.
Click Choose image.
Upload or select a picture that fits your project theme.
Click Add to theme to apply the same background to all slides.
Click Done.
Add Fill Color to Text Boxes:
Click on a text box to select it.
Click the Fill color icon (paint bucket) in the toolbar.
Choose a color that contrasts well with your background to make text easy to read.
Repeat for each text box on your slides.
Remember you can change your font color to make it easier to read.
Add One Fact per Slide:
On each slide, students should write one fact about their famous person in the text box.
Use clear, complete sentences.
Make sure each text box has a fill color to keep the text readable.
Insert a Picture of Your Famous Face:
On one or more slides, click Insert > Image.
Upload or search for a picture of the famous person.
Resize and position the picture so it complements the text.
Review Your Presentation:
Ensure all slides have the same background picture.
Verify each slide has a filled text box with one clear fact.
Check that pictures are clear and well placed.
Practice presenting to be prepared.

Use reliable websites to find 5 to 7 important and fun facts about your person. Make sure to include their full name, birthdate, what they are famous for, and any special achievements.Create Your Clue Cards
Write each fact on a separate card or slide. Start with general facts and get more specific with each clue.Practice Your Presentation
Get ready to share your clues out loud with the class. Practice speaking clearly and slowly.Present to Your Class
Share your clues one by one. Let your classmates guess who your famous person is. Be ready to answer yes/no questions!

Start with Questions
Think about what you want to learn about your famous person. For example:Who are they?
What are they known for?
What interesting things have they done?
When and where were they born?
Use Reliable Sources - ex. Search “Cal Raleigh Biography”
Look for trusted websites made by experts or well-known organizations. Avoid sites that don’t have clear authors or sources.Take Notes
Write down important facts in your own words. This helps you remember and understand what you find.Check More Than One Source
Verify facts by reading or watching from different places to make sure the information is correct.Keep Track of Where You Find Information
