I can use technology to research information about a famous person, organize my facts clearly, and create a presentation to share what I learned with my classmates.

Research – The process of gathering information from books, websites, videos, or other sources to learn about a topic.
Source – The place where information comes from, like a book, website, or video.
Presentation – A way to share information with others, using speaking, visuals, or technology like slides or posters.

Directions:
Choose Your Famous Person
Pick someone you find interesting and get it approved by Mrs. Dunn.
Research Your Person
Use reliable websites to find 5 to 7 important and fun facts about your person. Make sure to include their full name, birthdate, what they are famous for, and any special achievements.
Create Your Clue Cards
Write each fact on a separate card or slide. Start with general facts and get more specific with each clue.
Practice Your Presentation
Get ready to share your clues out loud with the class. Practice speaking clearly and slowly.
Present to Your Class
Share your clues one by one. Let your classmates guess who your famous person is. Be ready to answer yes/no questions!

Tips for Effective Research
Start with Questions
Think about what you want to learn about your famous person. For example:
Who are they?
What are they known for?
What interesting things have they done?
When and where were they born?
Use Reliable Sources - ex. Search “Alex Morgan Biography”
Look for trusted websites made by experts or well-known organizations. Avoid sites that don’t have clear authors or sources.
Take Notes
Write down important facts in your own words. This helps you remember and understand what you find.
Check More Than One Source
Verify facts by reading or watching from different places to make sure the information is correct.
Keep Track of Where You Find Information
Write down the name of the website..
Look for Fun and Unique Facts
Try to find interesting stories or things that make your famous person special.
Ask for Help if You Get Stuck
