Goal Status (as of end of Q2 2022)
STATUS
Progress in increasing the number of counselors in both Roaring Fork Valley and Eagle River Valley schools. Challenges include paperwork for Medicaid reimbursement and a housing shortage that prevents filling at least one position. The community is also working on developing a vision for mental health services, improving access to transportation services for mental health crises, and eventually establishing an inpatient facility. Overall, progress is being made towards sustainable, balanced prevention, intervention, and treatment services for the community's mental health needs.
