Current number of licensed early childhood programs rated level 3 or higher on the Colorado Shines rating system is 19 with a goal of increasing that to 22 by the end of Q4 2023.

Total number of Early Childhood providers engaged in coaching
34 total programs received coaching during 2022.
One program moved up to a level 4 rating from level 2 with the assistance of consistent coaching in Q3 2022
Eagle County early childhood grants were tiered based on quality ratings (incentives for higher quality ratings) with recruitment and increased credentialing of teachers incentivized.
Planning for increases in direct investments to childcare providers in 2023.
Additionally, there will be planning for the newly passed lodging tax investment to align and increase supports to early childhood programming
Working with LCO to incentivize UPK participation, which includes quality coaching

Total number of hours of coaching provided to engaged programs
A total number of 2,600 hours of coaching was provided in 2022
MEASURE
Number of programs with probationary license status during quarter
One program was able to move off of probation this quarter after working closely with licensing and coaches to address concerns. Unfortunately, another program is now on probation.
2 total programs were put on probation during 2022, with only 1 remaining at the end of 2022
