The School Leadership Team
In accordance with New York State law, each school has a School Leadership Team that is responsible for directing the budgeting process for the school in order to meet goals established each year. The team is made up of representatives from each union, faculty, and parents, all elected by their respective constituent bases. The principal is also on the team. Meetings are open to the public.
The School Leadership Team (SLT) provides a structure for school-based decision making and the development of a collaborative school culture. The SLT members develop educational policies for their school and align resources to those policies. SLTs provide ongoing evaluations and assessments of a school’s educational programs and their effect on student achievement. Members who are currently on the SLT are on for this school year. New elections will be held in June 2017. For each meeting, the SLT will meet at Eagle in the school library at 5:00 p.m.
All SLT meetings are open to the public.
