Eagles In Flight

Global Glimpse 2017

Eagle Academy is one of only ten public high schools in NYC that participates in the Global Glimpse program. Up to fifteen of our students will travel in the summer of 2017 to either Nicaragua, Ecuador or The Dominican Republic. Through Global Glimpse, scholars will get a chance to live and work alongside community members in our member countries, giving them a first hand look beyond the tourist angle and into the day to day lives of each countries citizenry. If you are interested in learning more, contact Mr. Rodriguez by email at

Preparing for College

This year, Eagle Bronx has scheduled six in-depth full-day college trips to various colleges north of the City and upstate. Additionally, on October 21, 2016, Eagle held the All-Male College Fair with representatives from over 60 colleges presenting to Eagle scholars from all campuses. With annual four-year college acceptance rates of over 95%, Eagle is committed to preparing our young men for college.

Eagle Bronx's instructional practice engages students in higher-order thinking through questioning, students’ discussions, and writing to increase student achievement.

Scholars Rising

Class of 2016

Eagle achieved a graduation rate of 79% with the class of 2016, which is six points higher than the city-wide co-ed graduation rate, and 13 percentage points higher than the Bronx-wide co-ed graduation rate. We congratulate all of our graduated scholars and wish them the best as they soar.
