Students will learn the roles and expectations of an educational professional in New York State, classroom management techniques, cooperative learning strategies, and literacy education. Topics of study include: education terminology and frameworks, technology, structure, mandates, and educational services.
Students will participate in rotations in a variety of educational settings including elementary, middle, and high school, as well as specialty areas such as special education, music, art, and more.

New Visions programs require an application and an interview for admission.
Students must provide their own transportation to Buffalo State University and internship sites.
