Students will learn the fundamental practical skills needed in the construction field, such as: proper use of hand and power tools, safety procedures, blueprint reading, and obtaining accurate measurements. Practical knowledge will be applied by working with drywall installation, rough and finish carpentry, framing, painting, roofing, floor installation, door and window installation, siding, restoration work, and more.
Develop, design, and construct various structures using 21st century tools and technology.
Gain skills and certificates that allow you to be employed anywhere in North America.
Develop skills necessary to use and operate the same tools as a master carpenter.

The shop is very loud and spread out
Housekeeping (Material sorting, organization, cleanliness, etc.)
Students are outside year-round on house job site (Ladders, scaffolding, roof, interior/exterior)
Work well in teams and individually
Will work outside and in all weather conditions
Instruction is done in large groups with a lecture/demonstration of content presented visually and orally.
