Perfectly Imperfect was one of only 7 yearbooks in Michigan to earn a 2020 Spartan out of 70 student media publications submitted.  The Spartan Award is MIPA's highest honor for student media. Out-of-state judges who are nationally recognized in their field critique the books; yearbooks can earn a bronze, silver, gold, or Spartan.  Every Garber Yearbook student journalist that submitted work in the individual contests placed or earned recognition for their entry.
