About me
Hello! I am so excited to be teaching science! I am a graduate of the University of South Dakota, where I earned my undergraduate degree, and I am currently continuing my education at USD as I work toward my master’s degree.
Science has always been something I genuinely love, and I am excited to share that enthusiasm with my students. I especially enjoy learning about how the world around us works and helping students make connections between what we learn in the classroom and the world outside of it.
Outside of school, I serve in the South Dakota Army National Guard as an 88M (Motor Transport Operator). I also enjoy running long distances, cooking and baking, and doing arts and crafts. I love staying active, trying new things, and finding creative ways to learn and solve problems.
I am looking forward to getting to know my students and helping them discover their own interests in science. I hope to create a classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, being curious, and getting excited about learning!
