WORK CONTINUES

January 13, 2021

By working outside of school hours, contractors were able to cut out concrete inside the school for our remodel project. As you can see, yes, there were wires cut. But since contractors worked outside of school hours, a minimal disturbance was made to the school day. Thanks to them, as well our teachers/staff and students for being flexible during the past day and a half so that this could be accomplished!

Also, roof decking is going up on the elementary addition!

January 8, 2021

Construction continues to move forward. The HS first floor bathrooms have been demoed and are ready for the remodel to begin and the elementary addition is slated to be enclosed by the beginning of February.

Construction

July 15, 2020

As summer hits full stride, evidence of construction is happening at Dawson-Boyd. Brent Moseng Construction is building the custodial garage as L & S Electrical of Springfield, MN, is getting a jump start on the building project for the new elementary addition. Reminder to parents of young children...please have the conversation that it is ok to see what is going on from outside the cones...but do not enter the construction site. As the summer winds down and the beginning of school gets closer, more machinery and "action" will be taking place.
