Grades K-12; All content areas; Basic Canvas experience recommended | Record your own videos, create collections to organize your library, edit existing videos, or add quiz questions to a video - attend this session to explore these options within Canvas Studio and have a facilitator present who can answer questions as you build up your experience with making and using videos in Canvas Studio.

STEM: EXPLORE! 3D Printing Design

Grades 3-8, Teachers | Let's bring a 21st-century twist to student-made models! In this training, teachers will be introduced to the 3D modeling software Tinkercad. Tinkercad provides a space for students to design custom 3D models to be used later with a 3D printer. Teachers will walk away from this experience with the knowledge to implement Tinkercad with an introductory project. No 3D printer? No problem, students will still gain valuable 21st-century skills with Tinkercad.
STEM: EXPLORE! Scratch Coding

Grades 3-8, Teachers | Are you looking to transform the way students use technology in your classroom? In this training, teachers will be introduced to the free coding platform “Scratch” developed by the brilliant minds of MIT. Scratch provides creative freedom for students and can be used to create presentations, video games, animated stories, and so much more! Teachers will walk away from this experience confident with the skills needed to introduce coding to their students and with an introductory project.

All Staff | The ViewBoards from ViewSonic are getting installed in DVUSD schools. In the first year 10 schools have received boards. Over the next three years, all DVUSD classrooms will be upgraded. Whether you already have ViewBoards on your campus or not, you can EXPLORE the features and experience use of the board during this session with a ViewSonic trainer present who can answer questions and support your learning journey.
