Many Parents and Carers feel nervous about their child moving to a larger school and are anxious about the changes this will bring. We have developed this site to support you during this time by providing you with clear information about what secondary school will involve and how you can work with us to give your child the best possible start. The COVID 19 Pandemic has had an impact on all of our lives. It is difficult enough to deal with this an adult and so to a child who is also going through a big school change, things can seem overwhelming. This story helps children learn about their emotions and it can act as a starting point for discussion. If you think your child needs more support please contact pastoral@durhamfederation.net
