This required 3-day training with Amy Mosquera from Adelante Educational Specialists is designed to introduce mainstream teachers to the fundamentals of multilingual student needs, including best practices in scaffolding and differentiating to increase literacy. This multi-year rollout will begin with 9th and 10th grade core teachers, and will roll up to include all departments and grade levels.  Participants are asked to pick one cohort.  Trainings are scheduled from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm at District Office, with a one-hour lunch break.
