All coaches/managers and players must register through Rugby Xplorer. Below is the information to help you create a profile in order to register.
RX Profile Creation
Creating the RX profile is the first and most important step for all participants. To assist you, NZR have a YouTube tutorial that you can share with your organisation and members: Rugby Xplorer: How to sign up. Parents please sign up as the Primary account holder and link your child to your account.
The DHS Rugby committee has a policy for players that have left school and are wishing to be eligiable to play for the school. Guidelines can be found Here

2026 Season Details: Dunstan High School has 5 Rugby Teams that play in the Otago Secondary School Competition. The competition runs from May - Early August.
Teams include
1st XV Team
Senior Team
Intermediate Team
Junior Team
Girls 1st XV (U17)
Junior Girls Development Grade - if there are enough players. These players may be able to slide over into the 1st XV team if they are capable.
Registration: Registration is done through the Rugby Xplorer website. Your sub will be put on your school account - please do not pay via the website.
All DHS rugby players and coaches are to register through the Rugby Xplorer.
Pre season Training (This is not compulsory): The starting date is still to be confirmed. The site will be updated and check the daily notices for when this will start.
Trainings: To be advised once coaches are appointed.
Games: All boys games are on Saturdays. With the competitions being Otago wide there is a lot of travel involved. This will be sorted by the team manager. Girls play in a Central Otago competition on Wednesday nights.
A draw of all games will be available on our Facebook page - Dunstan High School Rugby Club and on the Rugby Explorer App called Rugby Match Day which can be downloaded at the App Store.
Exchanges and Tournaments:
1st XV, Senior and Girls - Central Southland College Exchange.
U15 - Rural Livestock Tournament.
Cost: subs + additional fees if progress to playoffs and knockout competitions
1st XV - $250 subscription
Junior, Intermediate and Senior Teams - $200 subscription
Girls Team - $100 subscription
U15 Tournament Team - additional cost is dependant on the location of the tournament
Please notify Sally Mullally if you wish to pay your sub off in installments.
Uniform: Supplied by the school. Players purchase socks and shorts at Cooneys in Alexandra. 1st XV shorts are provided. Training jackets will be issued to all new players. Returning players that require a new jacket must purchase one from the school for $70 or buy a second-hand one off another player
