Set crew members help the manager or designer create the set for the production. The crew will take part in either physically building the set or painting pieces for the set as well as moving it on stage. Members of set crew handle many different types of equipment ranging from power tools to paint brushes in order to design a set that perfectly fits the look of the production. Running Crew are the crew members that power the scene changes, prop handoffs and onstage “magic” for each production. This includes moving scenic units, striking and setting of props on stage, and so on.
