PISM

Altair PSIM is a premier electronic circuit simulation software package specifically engineered for power electronics, motor drives, and energy conversion systems. Originally developed by Powersim, the software was acquired by Altair Engineering in March 2022 and integrated into its Electronic System Design ecosystem. Unlike traditional SPICE-based tools, PSIM utilizes nodal analysis and trapezoidal rule integration to deliver exceptionally fast simulation speeds and reliable convergence without high-speed switching wave errors.
