The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) needs to be completed by students and their families in order to start the process of receiving financial aid. Seniors may start completing their FAFSA application on October 1st of their senior year. The first step in the process is to create a StudentAid.gov Account (formerly FSA ID). To do so, click here.
After your FSA ID is created, visit studentaid.gov to begin the FAFSA application.
The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) is a national provider of financial student aid services and programs. To access all of their programs and resources available to the state of Pennsylvania, please visit pheaa.org.
PHEAA has provided a resource page for Parents and Students that is designed to provide information on the entire financial aid process, including completing the FAFSA. You can find this helpful resource here: Financial Aid Resources for Parents and Students
