Info about Ms. McCort

I am in my eighteenth year of teaching at Dublin High. I graduated from Cal State Hayward with a BA in History and continued at CSUH to get my California Teaching Credential. I also earned a MA in Teacher Leadership at Saint Mary's College of California. I love my job at Dublin High teaching in the Social Studies Department as well as advising the Publications class.

I have been married for sixteen years and have a thirteen year old daughter and another daughter who is nine. I love baseball, traveling, scrapbooking, camping, anything Disney, reading and being anywhere near the ocean.

In addition to teaching, I have a variety of responsibilities on campus:

• Publications Adviser - I oversee the student run staff that publishes the annual yearbook. If you have questions about the yearbook, purchase a baby ad for your senior or submit photos, please feel free to email or call me. • Social Studies Department Lead Teacher - please contact me if you have any questions or concerns about the department.
• Class of 2021 Co-Adviser - Amy Lopez and I are the faculty advisers for the Junior class of 2021
• Close Up Adviser - Each year I take a group of Dublin High Juniors and Seniors to Washington DC to participate in the national Close Up program.
