The Dance Department was established at Dublin High School starting in 2016. Now in its fourth year the program offers Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Dance. The students learn a variety of dance styles from hip-hop, Jazz, Ballet, and Lyrical. Students are given the opportunity to develop their artistic skill and expression through the elements of dance to develop and teach their own choreography. Students are given the opportunity to perform in the Winter and Spring dance concerts as well as school events. Through class experiences, students develop important 21st century skills to prepare them for the real world experiences to prepare them for post-secondary life.
The Dance program has also established a National Honor Society for Dance starting 2018-2019
Students can take dance for PE or Performing Arts Credit
