Hello! My name is Alexz Giacobbe and I love teaching art! I am a former Riversider, and am so proud to serve the wonderful community that I grew up in. We will embark on many creative adventures together this year!

After graduating from Dublin City Schools, I studied Fiber and Photography at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. During that time, I began life-changing work with children after being trained by the Autism Treatment Center of America. These combined experiences sparked my love of art education. I continued my education, received my Master of Arts in Teaching, and have been passionately teaching art for the past 9 years.

Outside of the art room, I continue my own studio practice and love to travel as often as possible.
