Coach Bios

Cortney Ingram- Coach Cortney Ingram is beginning her 14th year coaching cheerleading, her 5th year with the Scioto cheerleading program and her 3rd year as head coach for the Irish. Prior to her start at Scioto, Coach Ingram was the head cheer coach at Karrer Middle School for 4 seasons where her teams won several cheer competitions each year. Additionally, Coach Ingram coached in Hilliard where she coached the 2011 state runner-up in Div.1 cheerleading. Coach Ingram is a former gymnast and has extensive experience in coaching tumbling and stunting as well as with routine choreography. Ingram graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Human Development and Ecology with a focus in middle childhood education. She also has a masters degree in school administration. She is currently a district literacy support specialist for Dublin City Schools. In the little free time she has, you can find her dining at a local establishment, reading a good book, or spending time with family and friends. She currently resides in Hilliard.

Marie Lopes- Coach Marie is entering her sixth season with the Irish. She relocated from Lewisburg, Pennsylvania where she coached middle school and varsity cheer for 12 years. Coach Marie is the mother of six (Bryana, a 2018 graduate of Scioto and a recent graduate of Ohio University, and Xavier, a 2021 graduate of Scioto and playing football for Bethune -Cookman University) and the proud grandmother of two wonderful little boys. Marie has a degree in Early Childhood Education and teaches preschool at Heritage Christian Preschool, in Westerville. In her free time you will find her serving at her local church as Youth Director, enjoying a good audiobook, and during the spring and summer she enjoys gardening. Coach Marie resides in Westerville.

Amber Jones- Coach Jones is entering her 14^th year of coaching cheerleading and her second season with the Irish. In previous years she has both judged and coached college, middle school, and competition cheer. Coach Jones has a degree in English from Wittenberg University, a Masters of Business Administration from Franklin University, and works at Chemical Abstracts Service, in Columbus. She currently resides in Powell, with her son, daughter, and grandson. When she is not working you will find her cheering her son on at his different sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
