Welcome to Mr. Bivens' web page. On this page, you will find many tools to help you through your math journey at Doniphan-Trumbull. I would like to welcome all on my new students and returning students to my classroom. This will be an awesome year for all of us.
A little background about me:
This will be my 13th year of teaching and I cannot see myself doing anything else in this world. I have a deep passion for helping students learn about math and real-life skills. I have been at DT since 2011-12. Prior to DT, I spent one-year teaching in Salina Kansas, two years in Wichita, Kansas, and then we moved to Nebraska to be closer to my wife's family where I taught at St. Paul for two years before moving to DT. I have been married for 13 years to the love of my life Brenda. We have three awesome children Blake who will be in 2nd grade at DT. Paxton who is starting Kindergarten this year. Last is Aubree who is in Pre-School this year. As a family, we love spending time outdoors. Any time at the lake is a good time. We spend the whole summer swimming and fishing across Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado. We like to take trips and experience new things.
