QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Eligibility : R.A. 1080 (Licensed Architect)
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training
Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience
JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepare the design plans and other necessary documents of various construction projects, maintenance and repair works in accordance with the Philippine's latest building and structural codes; fire, health and safety codes; mechanical, electrical and plumbing codes; rules, regulation and ordinances of the local government; and other existing applicable laws.
Assist in the preparation of complete detailed plans, project proposal, terms of references, detailed estimates, technical specifications, PERT/CM/S-Curve and other documents necessary forbidding requirements and implementation of the maintenance, construction and/or infrastructure project.
Assist the Department in filing the required documents to secure approval of government authorities having jurisdiction over the design of the Project.
Assist the Engineer Ill in the conduct of site inspection during construction and make sure that contractor's works are in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
Submit inspection reports to immediate supervisors to ensure that project implementation is in accordance with the approved contract agreement.
Assist in the review of the contractor's request for payment, time extension and variation orders whenever applicable including recommendation for final acceptance.
Assist the GSS head and Engineer in the implementation of various project designs, building maintenance and repair works.
Assist in the development/enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), policies, guidelines, systems and processes relative to building and grounds management and maintenance; repair and rehabilitation; and construction of infrastructure projects, among others.
Undertake other tasks that may be assigned from time to time related to Administrative functions.
EXPECTED OUTPUT
Detailed designs using Autocad and Sketchup, program of works, cost estimates and other related documents on infrastructure, construction and maintenance projects of the Department.
Reports and other related reportorial presentations on maintenance, construction and infrastructure projects.
Updates, Memoranda and other office communications.
Technical assistance to Field Offices and Offices/Bureaus/Sections/Units in the Central Office, intermediaries and stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED

4. Certificate(s) of Trainings/Seminars attended and Employment;
5. Certificate(s) of Board Rating/Professional License/CS Eligibility (if applicable only);
6. Certification from school for Masteral units earned or completed (if applicable only); and
7. Individual Performance Commitment and Review Form - Ratings for the last semester of employment for applicants from any government agencies; or Performance Evaluation signed by the supervisor or the HR Head for applicants from any private company/institution; or GMC for new graduates.
