Responsibilities

I am responsible for tracking students' attendance and outside placements district wide. My duties include investigations of students with attendance problems and working to resolve conflicts within the school and home. I am a member of the Student Assistance Program (SAP) at the Dallas Middle and Dallas High school.  SAP members attempt to aid students to overcome barriers that interfere with their educational progress.

I act as the District liaison with the following agencies.       

Local and State Police, Children's Service Center, Children and Youth, The Bridge, Wyoming Valley Alcohol and Drugs, Caron counseling, Alternate Education Schools, Mental Health Agencies, Pa. Dept. of Education for Homeless Students, D.A.R.E. Grant funding, Safe and Drug Free Grant funding, Probation and local courts, church groups and the Community Fund.
