Dr Sian Campbell

Dr Sian Campbell is a dual-trained General Physician and Rheumatologist with a special interest in connective tissue disease (lupus, scleroderma, mixed connective tissue disease, inflammatory myopathies), inflammatory arthritis (including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and crystal arthritis) and vasculitis. Her additional training in general medicine allows her to better manage patients with complex comorbidities and her comforting nature and impeccable bedside manner leaves patients feeling well cared for and valued.

Dr Campbell completed her medical training at the Royal Melbourne and Royal Hobart Hospitals after having graduated as dux of the Deakin University Medical School in 2012. She holds public appointments in General Medicine and Rheumatology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Ballarat Base Hospital. She has been recently appointed as a Deputy Director of Physicians Education at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and also holds a part time appointment in clinical teaching at Deakin University Medical School.
