Understanding the achievements and cultural legacies of ancient civilizations helps us appreciate and preserve the diverse cultures that shape our world today by teaching us to look at the past and learn what to do to create a better future.
In world history, students had to make a hut out of bamboo sticks to understand the building process of early Neolithic times that led to ancient civilizations. Although I don't take this class, it contributes to the PBL project and process.
In Geometry, students had to create images that used geometric properties to establish a specific ancient civilization. We'd end up using these images as green screens in our final short film. Although I didn't take this class, I now understand how this assignment from last year contributes to the PBL project.
During the script recording portion, we recorded the scenes according to the plot diagram and script.
During the editing portion, I edited and combined the clips and scenes, as well as added text to create the final short film.
