Our Guernica PBL was created for students to learn about Pablo Picasso's famous art piece that he created to highlight the atrocities of the Spanish Civil War. Students created pieces of the 10th grade Guernica to illustrate global conflicts. This was mainly an art project, but aspects of World History, Literature, and Geometry were imbedded into it.

I had to look for many symbols for both science and art in order to finish this project. I acquired new skills in layering, pasting PDFs, and modifying my paintbrush to alter the texture in order to do this challenge. There was a lot of repetition in my artwork, as well as various patterns and background texture. I had fun experimenting with the many tools on the website and using the various symbols. I made the design myself. In the future, when I'm making a canvas painting, I might utilize these instruments.
