This game was our entry event into our final PBL of the year. The main premise of the game was to make decision to help your country based off their needs. If you made a bad decision, your country could lose money, and you needed to keep all of your bars balanced.
For the World Literature portion of this project, I created a propaganda poster based off my controverisal topic. My topic was water pollution, and I had to create a compelling, emotion, semi-truthful poster to try to convince people to believe my viewpoint. I also wrote a research paper on water pollution, so using the information I know to create something heartful was not too troubling.
Our second project in World Literature during this project was our PSA. My group members, Armesha, Lauren, Habib, Jayla and I created a Public Service Anouncement (PSA) to raise awarness for school shootings. Due to a lot of tests I had to do during class time, I was not in the video, but was the voiceover for the scenes.
Our one and only project for chemistry during this project was our emotion painting activity. This project tasked us to create a drawing using one of the key characters in the Guernica (shining eye, bull, dead solider, etc.) and include what emotion they are portraying. Then, we would add the chemical components of those emotions into the actual drawing. My group members were Penny and Jack. We decided to use the shining eye and light bulbs as our character, and portrayed sadness, anxiety, and fear in our drawing. We drew chemical components inside of the drawing to showcase this.
For the art portion of the Guernica Project, our class made our own Guernica. Each section focusing on a different topic, we each made a emotional and conveying artpiece to show the consquences/outcome of our topic. In the end, we combined these seperate pieces to create this guernica using black, white, and purple.
This artist statement is a recap everything we did for each class during this project, our reflection to those project and our overall enjoyment.
