Artistic Idol
For this project, I selected my artist based on their ability to create engaging landscape compositions that blend natural scenery with structured elements. My drawing is inspired by this approach, illustrating a peaceful rural setting with a winding road, a river, a bridge, and various textures found in the trees, grass, and water. I experimented with shading techniques to enhance depth and contrast, such as darkening the shadows beneath the bridge and using different pencil strokes to represent distinct textures. These artistic decisions were made to direct the viewer’s attention and create a balanced composition.
My partner and I created a woven paper model to represent covalent bonding. We used a single strand woven through both our papers to show shared electrons, emphasizing how atoms bond by sharing rather than transferring electrons. The weaving process symbolized the strong connection formed in covalent bonds. To actually weave the paper I had to cut out slips vertically on two papers. After cutting them i weave the slips below and above the other slips of paper.

For my "Shaping My World" project, I made a video about Mali titled The Lost Gold of Mansa Musa, where Mansa Musa loses a portion of his wealth during his pilgrimage and must seek help from his advisor to recover it. The story highlights themes of humility, trust, and the importance of seeking wisdom, even for those in power.
For this project, I created multiple visual representations of the radioactive element dubnium. For this project, I focused on dubnium danger and instability. Dubnium is a transition metal element that rapidly decays making it have no practical use. My inspiration came from researching its radioactive status, which led me to create images that show destruction and the power of nuclear energy. For the principles of design, I used shape, contrast, and balance to emphasize the danger of dubnium. The most challenging part was researching dubniums' everyday uses, because of how dangerous dubnium had no practical uses. If I had to do this again I would try and focus on what its instability caused and affected others.
For this project, I created an image that spells out "CHEMVAS" using photos related to both chemistry and art. I learned how to blend images and arrange them to form each letter, making sure the visuals from both fields were clear and connected. The process involved using color, shape, and texture to keep the design balanced and interesting. I liked how the proect allowed me to be creative, but it was challenging to make sure the letters were still easy to read. These skills could help in the future when I need to create visual projects that combine different subjects.

For this project, I wrote an essay about good and bad study habits. I explained what makes a good student and what causes students to struggle. I also learned how to write paragraphs in Spanish and talk about school problems.

We made a trip to Bali for two clients. We had a budget of $7000 and spent $5981 on activities and hotels. The extra money can be used for food, souvenirs, or transportation. This project was good because we learned how to plan a trip in Spanish and use a budget.

This is our project about global citizens. In this project, we talked about what a global citizen is and why they are important. We also talked about three global problems: poor education, poverty, and lack of access to healthcare. We chose healthcare as the most important problem and explained how we can help and raise awareness. We used resources, websites, and reflections to support our ideas.
