For this assignment, I chose a piece called "Irony of a Negro Policeman," by Jean-Michel Basquiat and explained how the piece was apart of activism. I explained how the colors and mediums that were used showed activism as well as provided a short biography on who Basquiat is as an artist.

I created a piece for teachers appreciation week. This piece depicts a stack of book with an apple on it that says "Best Teacher." I wanted to honor teachers for teacher appreciation week using art.
