For our "Food for Thought" project, we created recipe cards that represented our life experiences, cultures, or religions. Each ingredient and step in the recipe symbolized a part of who we are our values, traditions, memories, and beliefs. This project allowed me to reflect on my personal journey and share it with others in a creative and meaningful way, showing how food can connect identity, culture, and community.
For my "Tessellation Map" project, I explored the concept of tessellations in geometry by creating a map design where shapes fit together without gaps or overlaps similar to how countries or regions are arranged. Inspired by the "Food for Thought" theme, I incorporated food-related elements into the tessellated shapes, For my example my tessellation is based off "Health vs Wealth" which is a balance scale that shows the wealth is a bit higher because people tend to value money over their health.
